I recently considered using HPV supplements (human papillomavirus) such as PAPCLEAR. Since nearly 80% of sexually active Americans are likely to get HPV, I seriously thought about taking supplements to boost my immune system.
I imagined I had HPV but never realized it because I did not experience any symptoms. After all, most infected people with no symptoms have robust enough immune systems to eradicate the virus before it develops into cancer. I figured my immune system was as strong as well.
Unfortunately, I was among the few who did not have a robust immune system to prevent HPV-related cancer. That is why my doctor recommended that I get annual physicals and pap smear tests to ensure no signs of cervical cancer are present in my cervix.
Since HPV is one of the primary causes of cervical cancer in women, sexually active women like myself must get frequent examinations to detect signs of cancer before it spreads. However, I wanted additional ways to protect myself from HPV and the potential cancers linked to it.
Nutritious Eating and Immunity
I wanted to do everything possible to strengthen my immune system health. It is an ideal way to fight against HPV before it causes genital warts or cancer.
I knew consuming nutritious foods and supplements was the key to a healthy immune system. But first, I undertook a detoxification diet for approximately two weeks to rid my body of the unhealthy things that I may have put in it before.
A detoxification diet includes water, vegetable soup, tea, and watery fruits. I figured vegetables and watery fruits were the best because they contain many antioxidants to strengthen my immune system. Once the two weeks were over, I introduced more nutritious fruits and vegetables into my daily diet, especially those high in folic acid and Vitamin B.
I recommend eating the following fruits, vegetables, and nuts to boost the immune health:
- Bananas
- Green leafy vegetables
- Avocados
- Cantaloupe
- Oranges
- Cabbage
- Nuts
- Peaches
- Brussels sprouts
- Broccoli
- Asparagus
I prefer raw fruits, vegetables, and nuts because they contain all their natural vitamins and minerals untouched.
Other Tips for Better Immune Health
I continue to support my immune health in every way possible. Aside from nutritious eating for immune strength, here are some other lifestyle actions that I take to strengthen my immune system:
- Quit smoking
- Quit alcohol
- Find ways to reduce stress (e.g., meditate, CBD)
- Physical exercise
What About Natural Supplements?
I recommend these foods because they contain natural immune-boosting ingredients. However, since I do not always want to eat all those fruits, vegetables, and nuts daily, I frequently consume immune-boosting nutrients through supplements.
Of all the supplements, I prefer taking a natural multivitamin such as HPD Rx’s ONE which includes “folic acid”. Women like me must consume much folic acid to keep the cervix and immune system healthy. Research studies suggest folic acid reduces the risk of viral infections and helps cells stop viruses from replicating. But it needs to be natural folate instead of anything synthetic. That is how I get the best results.
